What to do this spring… Flagler County - PART 2
Another fun family activity is going on an overnight campout. One of the fondest memories parents can make with their children is to take them camping. Children love to try new things, and camping could be one of those things. If your memory of past camping trips includes wrestling to put up a cumbersome, heavy old tent, forget that. Today’s tents are light, airy and just about set themselves up. Around Palm Coast and Flagler County we have many campgrounds. One that I have talked about before is the Princess Place Preserve. A beautiful area with walking trails, canoeing and various wildlife to watch. At just $10 a night it’s a great deal.

Of course, when you have a home in Palm Coast, you live just minutes from miles of beautiful unspoiled beach. There are few sights as wonderful as watching the sunrise over the ocean. If you go later in the day don’t forget the sunscreen and plenty of drinks. Kids will love playing in the surf, building sand castles and riding the waves on a boogie board. If you get hungry there are many eateries just across the street from the beach. You can go to places where you can get a creamy ice cream or cooling glass of lemonade. After a day on the beach you can enjoy a relaxing diner overlooking the beach at the Pier Restaurant. Our long spring and summer days give you plenty of time to enjoy the beauty of the Palm Coast and Flagler Beach area. So come for a visit and maybe find the lifestyle you’ve been looking for.
