If you come to Palm coast and Flagler County and don’t play golf, you should consider what you’re missing! We are home to some of the premier golf courses in the state of Florida.  With over 180 holes of golf covering over 15,000 acres and more courses planed for the future. Our courses cater to all levels of players, and so many different environmental experiences.  You can play beside the dunes and oak and hammock forests, or choose the breath taking view of playing alongside the Atlantic Ocean. Or perhaps you would like to play inland among the fresh water canals, marshlands and dense forest.  The variety of courses will keep your interest round after round.

            The designers of these courses are some of the biggest names in the business, Jack Nicklaus, Gary Player, Tom Watson and Arnold Palmer to name a few. Nicklaus designed and built Grand Haven and the Ocean Hammock courses. This course has been described as “Pebble Beach of the South”. Ocean Hammock was renamed The Club at Hammock Beach when it became another jewel in the line of golf course communities owned by the Bobby Ginn company. The Tom Watson designed, The Conservatory at Hammock Beach is another Ginn company owned course.  One of the longest courses in the south, at more than 7900 yards, this course is awesome. This course has rolling hills and bunkers that tower over the head of the unlucky player who hits into one.

            Arnold Palmer designed the Pine Lakes Golf Club and the Matanzas Woods Golf Club. Pine Lakes offers a country club atmosphere with a full restaurant, tennis courts and pool.

            The Gary Player designed Cypress Knoll Golf Course is a scenic tour through dense forests of oak and cypress marsh. This is a tight course that puts a premium on the accuracy of your golf shots.
