The New Marineland - Marineland is being recreated!
Presently Marineland as we know it is being redeveloped as a research resort destination. It is changing from being a place to watch dolphins to a place where visitors can interact with them in their aquatic world.
How did it all start? A motion picture studio was built under water during the 1930s. It was named Marine Studios and soon Marineland became one of Florida's most popular tourist attractions.
Marine Studios continues to function as a motion picture studio and underwater film facility. Under the leadership of Jim Jacoby, innovative technology for production, distribution and communication will break now ground in the near future.
You can create your own lasting memories at the Dolphin Conservation Center, the new 1.3 million gallon series of dolphin habitats. For instance, you can enjoy dolphins up close while you being on land, but if you are more daring, you can glide into the dolphins' aquatic world from a sloping beach to swim with them.
